Why isn't this extension available through https://addons.mozilla.org/? If it was, it would have a lot more users.

I notice that Thunderbird's enigmail extension is available there.

Most Firefox users use the official website to find extensions to use.

It has some issue to be sorted out, I think that asap they can make an addon that strictly apply to mozilla policies you'll find it there.
