Topic: Have more information when bad signature

Hello again,

Could you provide more information when the signature is bad ?

Two examples :

1) This file is badly signed : http://packetstormsecurity.org/0902-adv … 090005.txt
But we don't know why... is the signature simply badly formed, or is the validity expired, or not trusted, or invalid date... ?

2) I got a signed mail, but the sender's e-mail was not the same than the signing e-mail. FireGPG told me a "Bad signature" but, as previously, I didn't knew it because FireGPG did not tell me details about the signature, I had to "verify" it by hand to get it. Could you have it displayed anyway, in the tip box or in a messagebox ?

Re: Have more information when bad signature

1) Badly signed = bad signature. If you haven't the key or anything else, it's said.

2) Same remark. Bad sign = bad sign.
