Topic: ajax and privacy

Hi!
(sorry for mistakes i dont write/speak english so well)

I have a question. Google gmail's uses AJAX. How can I be sure than googles is not using AJAX to read what i'm writing in the mail box?? If they do this your plugin is unuseless. Maybe put an option in your plugin for desactivate ajax on webs?

We cannot be sure if your message is readed by Google or not. It's a possibility...

If your message is very secret, the best way is to write and encrypt it in an offline editor or with a web page without a Javascript-like language.

Nice idea, but i dont know if it's possible easily. We will try to find a good solution in the futur.

There is a link at the bottom of GMail pages:

Gmail view: standard with chat | standard without chat | basic HTML

No need to disable AJAX with a plugin, it's built into Gmail.

Re: ajax and privacy

The only thing that bothers me is the automatic draft saving. This really renders any encryption in the ajaxian box useless, since google already got most of the (unencrypted) message when you are ready to sign. Any ideas how to turn (just) this off? I know about the HTML-option, but I like the rest of the AJAX-Look-and-Feel.

Re: ajax and privacy

Use the editor !

I thnik Gmail wouldn't like if the turn off some of his posibility...
