Ok I figured it out, perhaps you could add this info to your install instructions.
I had GPG version 1.2.4 installed. This does not support the --passphrase-file option you use in your extension.
I upgraded to GPG version 1.4.1 and now FireGPG works fine.
Latest version of gpg for mac can be obtained from http://macgpg.sourceforge.net/
Thanks for your hard work on the extension!
no - just a mixture of alpha and numerical characters (no symbols).
Hi there,
Installed your extension. I can encrypt messages fine, but can't decrypt. I am definitely using the right password! I tried sending the FireGPG enrypted text to my mail client and I can decrypt it there using a gpg plugin for Apple Mail and the same key.
I am using:
* OSX 10.3.9
* Firefox 2.0.0.3
* GnuPG v1.2.4 (Darwin)
I get the error message: "Decryption failed: unknown error"
Any ideas?
Thanks!
