Hi all,
I get this first signature of this email is not valid. I am getting this in linux. This is when I'm using my PGP signature to sign. The way I do it is I choose a chunk of text, right-click, choose FirePG > Sign & then sign it. I am using GNU Privacy Assistant (GPA) and have the following things done there :-

The key has no expiry date, it has Ultimate Ownership Trust and it is fully Valid. Then why does FirePG says its invalid?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE-----
Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux)

Try to find the lasted version of Gpg for windows...

Sorry for not answering earlier. I have the latest version of GPG4Win from http://wald.intevation.org/frs/?group_id=11 which is version 1.0.9 http://wald.intevation.org/frs/shownote … ase_id=143

One thing more which I didn't say was that I get two black blank windows for a moment after which
choose your private key thing appears. I un-installed & re-installed both GPG4Win as well as
FirePG but of no avail. Is it incompatible with some add-on maybe? I have about 7-8 addone
but nothing to do with privacy or anything . Also is it possible because I'm using the 2.0.4 nightlies?

http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/ … taller.exe

Can u or some other user/developer or anybody try with this build for instance and lemme know if they are facing some issue or not?

Edit :- Some more info. once somehow both the black windows were stuck & hence could read them. They are not blank but say the signature is bad. Now I don't know how/why is it bad? Lemme enumerate the same plugin works in linux without an issue. I just copied the whole thing from linux to windows or do I need to make another key seperate key for windows?

I have GPG at C:\Program Files\GNU\GnuPG\gpg.exe which I had manually set by going through options in FireGPG, while the key lives at C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\gnupg lemme know if you need any more info. on this one.

Hi all,
I made the key in Ubuntu GNU/Linux. There the plugin works great. In Windows I installed gpg4win which also included WinPT as well GPA & while both can see the keys with the armor as well firepg just asks for the password & then 2 quick command windows go & choose the private key dialog comes but its empty hmm

Hi all,
I searched the whole site and there is no documentation about how the plug-in works. It would be good to have screenshots and things like what signing would do, for e.g. if I want to sign something in gmail, it shows me the the private key in cleartext in another window, it sometimes asks me for the password for the private key,  no idea if the sign done is of the public key or not, although logic says it should.
I can't stress it enough, either please put documentation or put up a public wiki which the users of the forum can be authenticated & hence use to atleast give some idea to the level they understand which would give the developers more time to develop more features & see bugs than people asking for info.

Comments, suggestions, flames all welcome.
