It's definitely FireGPG causing the problem. I can disable FireGPG and Fasterfox's page load timer starts working again.

Searched the forum but didn't find any references to this.

Just a minor annoyance, but upon installing the FireGPG Fasterfox's page load timer seems to have quit functioning.
