Hi -

I used the download site at

http://getfiregpg.org/install.html

Other then a mention that it is in Beta, I did not see any mention of a specific problem with gmail. 
No mater.  I look forward to the new edition.

It seems to me that it is in Gmail's interest to assist you - a lot of people want to use pgp with gmail.

I figured out the solution.  I saw a previous post about "in the upper right corner" of gmail, one can see a link to either "older version" or "newer version" depending which one your're currently on. 

I was on "newer" and when I clicked on "older" in the upper right corner - it now works.

Why wonb't it work iwht the "newer" versin of gmail - and what else may or not be in this "older" version of gmail?

I just installed gpg on a 10.3.9 mac.

I am using Firefox 2.0.0.14 with firegpg 0.4.9.

I get no pgp type buttons on my compose message.
I tried both gmail.com as well as https://www.gmail.com

Am I missing something simple here?
