It's because we dosen't want let's version with security problem in production. We let's users update, it's can disable firegpg but remove security issues too. You should uninstall Firegpg if it's can't works with 0.6.1, not use an old version.

/usr/bin/gpg wink

In my vmware virutal machine I have the same path and it's works. If I force the path or not.

Maybe an security application who block execution of external programs ? (And allow it in temp ?)
What is your gpg.exe --version output ?

For me it's works now so...

What is your path ? (Maybe special chars like <space> interfere)

(0.6.1 fix a problem introduced with 0.6)

Firefox 2 support dropped.
Windows and Linux (x86) ONLY are supported.

Bugs:

    * Nothing except security issues, who will be released later by people whom alert us.

Features:

    * FireFox portable compatible (you can use --home pathtoyourgnupgfolder in options).

Locales:

    * Nothing

Code:

    * Usage of IPC library
    * Code is now more clean (less platform-dependent)
    * GPL compatible

Hello,

As we fix (next release - 18.10) the #1 problem, the #1 problem is not this feature so... wink

Regards,

"My understanding of a signed message is that I get a unique signare and the original clearly readable text, the signature only ensures that the message is not manipulated...."

Yes, but some users request this feature, as it's a gnupg's feature so wink

"Does this make sense??"

Yes, it's a way of gnupg to sign data (you have to use the decrypt action before read it).

"Time to wait or should I search for an alternative?"

There is no alternatives (for gnupg encryption/signatures) so... wink The best is to make a patch ^^

Yop, we know there is a delay. It's because it's impossible to know when the 'page' finish to load (it's not a page like gmail1 but ajax) so we try ~10s after a click to find to elements in the page.

So when we found the solution we will use it wink

Bugs:

    * Fixed problems with gmail (buttons disappear)
    * Fixed a problem with the Encrypt button on the old gmail's interface
    * Fixed a problem with PGP blocks' sign verifications (don't say it's a good sign form 'undefined')

Features:

    * Adding signs of the xpi and the source code on the download page
    * Detection of private key's block (but you still can't import them). Thanks to Ryan Patterson for his patch
    * Adding an ID to the FireGPG inline block HTML allows user CSS to style the blocks (see bug FS#97 on the bug tracker for details)

Locales:

    * Fixed a problem with the Hungarian locale
    * Norwegian really implemented (I forgot to say to firegpg the translation was here)
    * symetric -> symmetric
    * Spanish corrections

Code:

    * Nothig.

Fixed for the second bug wink
