As there already exist an addon, this is not a good idea to 'steal' their work and implement it into FireGPG wink.

But maybe we cann discute with them and merge...

No - in most of case (simples texts) it's works, from firegpg to firegpg. Next we have to be compatible wink

The lasted version have tests for our xpcom in misc.js. If there is code like alert(res) uncommented, comment it wink (no time o check yet)

Hi,

Wait for the next version, there will be an api and a inline detector wink.

Regards,

Beacause it's the number version of misc.js. As it's a main file, it's should be relative uptodate (no way to have a better information...)

Hi,

1) Mmm Ok. But with an option.

2) You can select the text who you wants to crypt. For the moment it's the best we can do ^^.

This feature is done since a lot of time wink. But you still have to confirm, as we can do mistakes and we haven't a subkey support for the moment (where are located lots of emails) wink.

Ho ok. For the mozilla site it's normal, as it's a private addon (not ready for the public).

On our site, it's not signed as we can't buy a certif (if you have money we have a donation button wink). And the popup is everytime here, signed or not signed. Sign the addon dosen't relay give something more secure.

"YOUR WARNING MAKES ME WONDER IF THERE IS ALREADY A FAKE VERSION OF firegpg FLOATING AROUND ??" <-- No. But there are a lots of sites who mirrored the addon with an old version (versions < 0.4.7 have a (small) security problems), and it's very enoying to see users using an old version... And you're not sure what they did with our code.

I relay hate this sites, so I do all to prevents users using them wink.

We will be in 2 or 3 releases on the Firefox addon site (we're going to satisfate they requests) ^^.

Regards

You go to http://getfiregpg.org (and not an another website...) and you click on install and then download...

Be very carefully where you download FireGPG, if you not take our xpi on our website, you can download an addon with spy wares or something like this !

Added to the todo list x]

http://bugs.getfiregpg.org/index.php?do … task_id=51 <-- it's here smile.
