- You can verify openpgp/mime mails with the menu 
- You can change long texts to a small icon with short text - long still available in tooltip

Essayez de désactiver tous les autre plugins ou d'utiliser un profile vierge (firefox -p) dans un terminal. Si ça fonctionne, une extension doit être en conflit, réactivez les une par une et dites moi la quelle embête

Btw, you should use FireGPG integration for gmail (current broken) and no select the text to decrypt it. But I will try to fix the problem anyways

Firefox portable is supported so it's very strange. Did you set a correct home ?
