Topic: "GnuPG doesn't work, there is a problem"

The assistant pops up the message "GnuPG doesn't work, there is a problem", and I'm not sure what to do about it.

GnuPG is installed on the system, (I'm signing this message with gpg --clearsign).

I've tried pointing FireGPG's "executable" setting at "gpg" and "/usr/bin/gpg" (the actual location), but no luck.

Ideas?

I'm running firefox 3.5.5, gpg (GnuPG) 1.4.9, under ubuntu karmic linux, on a x86_64 machine.

It seems to work fine on a similar machine that's 32 bit. Is there an issue with 64-bit installs?

Tried downloading from source and installing that way, same issue.

Any other thoughts?

It works fine on my Scientific Linux machine in 64 bit, and my Karmic 32-bit system, but not my Ubuntu Karmic 64-bit system.

Running karmic-security's 3.5.5+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.9.10.1 , and gnugpg 1.4.9

Is anybody successfully running this on Ubuntu Karmic 64-bit?

Did you maybe have ia32-libs installed on the scientific box and not the buntu box?
