Topic: About hidden start

Poking around with the extension I've noticed that version 0.4.1 uses hidden start ( http://www.ntwind.com/software/utilities/hstart.html ) to invoke gpg.exe on windows without spawning those ugly cmd.exe boxes.

I was wondering if this applications is really needed: surely FireGPG looks better with it, but there's no source code avalaible around and when it comes down to privacy it really hurts. Could you stop using it? I think it surely has no sort of malware but it's not correct using such applications with sensitive passwords.

Re: About hidden start

I think we can trust this software, for capture password it's should be very specific, and we will never change or update it... We're ask the author for his permission after download it too.

And yes, it's really needed, we recive too mail for this cmd.exe boxes, and it's was a reason to refuse FireGPG on mozilla's website.

The only solution is to... write ourself a hstart.exe.. It's not seem to be complicated, but I hate the C (I can understand it, but I dislike his logical)..
If you can or have friends who can do it, it's not a bad idea to contact us smile. (Or a reader of this post ?)
