Topic: Firegpg problem with non-english locale

I recently installed FireGPG but it didn't work. In the gmail interface the buttons didn't appear, but the (context) menu did exist.

I tried to sign a mail: It ask me for my passphrase, I did enter an incorrect one: failure message. All ok for now, I tried again, correct passphrase, and boom: nothing.

I tried the same with  decrypitng a mail: asks me for a password but nothing happened.

Since this is clearly a bug that prevents working with firegpg I thought that a bufix release would be available soon. But it seems to no-one else suffers from this bug.

Suddenly something said me: maybe it is your locale setting.

I started firefox in the english language and suddenly firegpg worked as expected.

Non-Working configuration:
system locale settings: dutch (both firefox and firegpg were in dutch)
Gmail was in english
Firefox: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20061201 Firefox/2.0.0.6 (Ubuntu-feisty) <-- includes also My OS
Firepgp 0.4.3

Hello,

It's probably a problem with you locate, a string untranslaed. But I can't find them.. I will do more tests this afternoon.

But is it anyways a bug that firegpg don't works if the translation isn't complete?
Normally it should fallback to english if a particular string isn't available in dutch

Yes.

For the problem, it's fixed. But I want to wait 1 week before the public update, can you wait ?

I notice another problems in a locate.

My new system for manage string wil be done soon (export is on the way), by hand it's too hard...
