Topic: Google Apps for Domains Not Working

I have a Google Apps for Domains setup where the URL looks like:

http://mail.google.com/a/billybob123.com/...

where none of the buttons showed up.

I'm using Firefox 3 (release) + FireGPG 0.4.9 on MacOS 10.4 (Tiger).
I have the RTM extension loaded, but I disabled it and that didn't help any.

Getting this to work would be cool....thanks!  (BTW, the contextual menus work)

Re: Google Apps for Domains Not Working

Ok, same problem as usual, I suppose you have strange charcaters in your url (not letters/number) no ? Witch one ?

Re: Google Apps for Domains Not Working

No, my URL looks very similar to what I posted.  It has numbers in it:

https://mail.google.com/a/hotdog123.com … e=on#inbox

Is the URL when I'm in my inbox.  I've changed the actual domain name, but it has the same characters in it.

Re: Google Apps for Domains Not Working

Fixed, next release.

Re: Google Apps for Domains Not Working

Running .50 release - not fixed for GAFYD using new version of gmail.  Works if you go to use "older version".  Working with new version for regular gmail accounts, but not GAFYD.

Hum, maybe gmail change something in the GAFYD too...

I will investigate.

Yep.  Same problem here.  Well, at least there's a workaround.  When I need to send something encrypted, I can always switch interfaces.

Re: Google Apps for Domains Not Working

I'm also having trouble with Gmail - regular, not Apps for Domains. I'm using Firefox 3.0 on all systems.
0.50 works fine on Ubuntu 8.04, but on both Win XP Pro and Vista, I get none of the buttons in the Gmail interface. As with gbcox, it works properly for me when I go to the older interface.

Additionally, when I look at encrypted messages in other apps (SquirrelMail, for instance) I see the new inline PGP handler... the "display original" link works fine, but the "decrypt message" link produces no response.

Inline very cool, btw... now maybe I can get some Yahoo-using friends to start using GPG.

Hum.. maybe gmail is now platform-dependent ?

I will check wink

Re: Google Apps for Domains Not Working

Hello -

For whatever this is worth, using my Google Apps account, *which has a "." in the URL* (ie. http://mail.google.com/a/myname.tld), FireGPG displays neither a list nor buttons. In a traditional Gmail account (which, ironically, also sports a "."), it displays fine. I was under the impression that each and all Google Apps mail URL's would have a "." in them, but I cannot fathom another reasons why FireGPG would not work exclusively for Google Apps mail.

Re: Google Apps for Domains Not Working

Hi,

doesn't work for my Google apps as well and works for my Gmail
I run Windows XP FireFox 3

my Google apps URL:
http://mail.google.com/a/threeinnovators.com/#inbox

Thanks

Re: Google Apps for Domains Not Working

I'm just confirming that I'm having the same issue.  I updated to 0.5 the other day.

On my Google Apps account I don't get the buttons, but I can right click and still get functionality.

On my normal Gmail account, I get the buttons fine.

My Apps account domain has no odd characters or numbers in it.  Just letters.net  smile

Thanks

Re: Google Apps for Domains Not Working

Ok, it's was my fault - I add something for numbers in domains and I broke our regex...

Will be here for the next release wink
