Topic: OS X crashes / 64 bit IPC issues

I've read through a lot of the older posts regarding IPC issues w/ OS X and x86_64. I'm trying to run on OS X 10.5.6 Leopard, Firefox 3.0.8. I've also tried updating my IPC libraries via MacPorts, no luck. I still get a frozen/crashed Firefox almost every time I try to access FireGPG.

I've seen the solutions that involve re-compiling Firefox and IPC, this is not a workable plan for me since I have users for which this would be impossible.

I'm just looking for some comment on whether this is being actively worked on, whether it's something that is likely to be fixable in the near term. I'm not yelling or complaining, I'm just curious as to the status of this issue.

Ho, MacOS x86_64 and FireGPG, I think you can simply forgot, I haven't build any library. (But if you send me a free mac...)
