Topic: gpg in other position

It says on the website, one can change the position of the gpg.
OK , I have the gpg on the usb stick, with all its parts, keys, config file etc.
I opened the options, pointed the gpg path the the gpg I like to use. It did not object.
However after resterting the FF, when it comes to actual operations, it looks for the keyrings somewhere, it does not find anything apparentyl, when it comes up with the question which sec key, the list is empty, the keyring was apparently not found.

What elese I have to edit to get the thig working?

BTW: the gpg I am pointing to, works otherwise happy with thunderbird/enigma and winpt etc.

I tried on FF2016 and 3 and both same result.
No error msg or similar, just the dialog where one should choose the priv key pair is simply empty.

What OS are you running?  Can you list the output of your environment variables?  set at the command line if its windows.

well env.vars here, but what should they be for? I am using just now w2k and otherwise XP.
The lastest one could use env.var for individual software was in w98.
