Topic: Incoming Decrypt Problem

Good afternoon!

First off, let me say I am VERY happy with FireGPG.  The latest update makes it almost work 100% in terms of the features I want.  That being said, I've encountered a bug, I think.

When I get encrypted mail, it doesn't display anything before the first line break.  For example, if I get this message:

----------------------------------------------

line 1

line 2

line 3

line 4

----------------------------------------------

I only get 'line 2' and below displayed.  If the message is a simple sentence or 2 with no blank lines, it says 'decrypted', but nothing is displayed.  The same message sent to someone with PGP Desktop works correctly, so it isn't the source encryption doing it.

I can reproduce it on messages both TO me, and messages I send myself.  I send it to myself and someone else, and they get it correctly, but I get it without the first paragraph (anything before the first blank line)

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Tim

Re: Incoming Decrypt Problem

Hello,

Hum, yep, FireGPG remove "headers", but there is not headers in your case so he remove the part of the mail who seem to be headers...

Who send the encrytped mail ? FireGPG ? Witch format ? (Openpgp/mime or inline ? {Check the source of the mail})

Regards,

Re: Incoming Decrypt Problem

This happens both sent from FireGPG (with GnuPG for Windows backend) and from PGP Desktop.  The FireGPG is from myself to myself (same email account), and the encrypt is inline.

The other is from an outside server (private company).  It definitely seems to be a decrypt issue but only with FireGPG, as the same messages can be opened fine from PGP Desktop.

Do you need any more information from me on this?  I'd be happy to do whatever I can to assist.
